glade-ocelot Pty Ltd respects the privacy rights of individuals in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). Although we are an Australian company, we are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when processing personal data of EU/EEA residents.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling, and to direct marketing.

Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that significantly affect you.

International Data Transfers

As an Australian company, transferring data from the EU/EEA to Australia involves international transfer. We implement appropriate safeguards including:

  • Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Data processing agreements with appropriate security provisions
  • Technical and organisational measures to protect data in transit and at rest

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of your GDPR rights, please submit a request via email to [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this period by a further 60 days, in which case we will notify you.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If we cannot verify your identity, we may request additional information.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we have not handled your personal data appropriately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If you reside in the EU/EEA, you may contact the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Specific retention periods depend on the nature of the data and our legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.
